MIJLIBS Overview

Founded in 2022, the Maayan International Journal of Library and Information Science (MIJLIBS) is an open-access and  double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Maayan Publications.

The journal is led by Editor-in-Chief (xxx) supported by expert international editorial board members who take an objective approach to peer review, ensuring each research paper is reviewed and evaluated on its own scholarly merits and research integrity.

Maayan International Journal of Library and Information Science (MIJLIBS) is a Bi-Annual journal that has been established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field in all areas of Library and Information Science. 

MIJLIBS is a freely accessible scholarly journal committed to disseminate the intellectual efforts of global academic community in the discipline of Library and Information Science. It fully acknowledges and vividly promotes a breadth of the discipline of library and information science. As a research journal, MIJLIBS publishes solid and high-quality research articles, study reports, literature reviews, book reviews, conceptual framework, analytical and simulation models and theoretical discourses in Library Science, Information Science, Information Resources Management, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Management, Library Administration, Research Methods, Instructional technologies and other related fields in Library and Information Science. 

Subject areas suitable for publication include, but not limited to above mentioned fields, may include  future developments, collection, organization, opportunities, bibliographic databases, cataloging issues, electronic publishing, acquisitions, archives, preservation, and special collections, automation and cataloging, dissemination; processing of information resources; and the social, political, and economical aspects in information flow from producer to end users.

MIJLIBS aims to publish most quality research work which is undergone through quality check double-blind reviewing process. To provide an international open access platform to librarians, professors, information scientists,  specialists, researchers, managers, educators, academicians, practitioners and students for publishing their advanced research and development writing for the all areas of Library and Information Sciences.

MIJLIBS considers only original works that are not published elsewhere with any publication organization. All the submitted articles must follow the ethics and policy of Maayan Publications.
